Purchasing a new home
Once you have received offer & acceptance on a property, there are a few things that will need to be completed. Below is a checklist of items that may relate to your purchase.
Solicitor / Conveyancer
You will need to obtain a Solicitor or Conveyancer for the purchase of your property. They will communicate with you from acceptance through to settlement advising you of your legal obligations. They will communicate with the other party’s representative when required. The Solicitor or Conveyancer will arrange to have you sign contracts and any other documentation required for the purchase in their office.
If your purchase is subject to a pest inspection, you will need to arrange for your nominated inspector to call us. We will arrange access for the to the property at a mutually agreed time. Please note that we cannot recommend anyone for this.

If your purchase is subject to formal approval of finance you will need to arrange this with your nominated financial institution. They will need to communicate with your Solicitor/Conveyancer confirming when approval is granted.
The agreed deposit will be held in our trust account and should be payable and sent directly to us. Our trust account details will be advised to you in your confirmation of purchase letter. We will hold the deposit in trust until settlement. A deposit in the form of a cheque is required and depending on the Vendors requests a Deposit Bond may also be accepted.
